What is FLIXOTIDE evohaler used for?
Flixotide helps to prevent asthma attacks in people who need regular treatment. This is why it is sometimes called a ‘preventer’. It needs to be used regularly, every day. Flixotide will not help treat sudden asthma attacks where you feel breathless.
What type of inhaler is FLIXOTIDE?
Your FLIXOTIDE puffer contains the type of asthma medicine known as a ‘preventer’. It does not give immediate relief from an asthma attack and may take up to a week to start to work. If your shortness of breath or wheeze does not get better after 7 days, tell your doctor.
Is FLIXOTIDE for severe asthma?
