What is the difference between SK75 and sk78 Dyneema?
SK78 has the same strength as SK75 but offers significantly improved elongation and creep characteristics than it’s predecessor. For many years the strongest Dyneema grade and the standard material that everybody understands. Thanks to new and improved grades, SK75 is being used less and less and is now not offered by Marlow in Leisure Marine.
What is sk38 Dyneema?
A lower grade of Dyneema now often used in economy products. Whilst cheaper, SK38 does not have anywhere near the modulus, strength or low elongation properties of higher grades of Dyneema. launched in 2009 and offered approximately 10% – 15% strength improvement over SK75/8.
What are the different grades of Dyneema used for?

Is there a difference between PbO and Dyneema in D12?
When elongation is measured as a % of break load (fig. 1), it is shown that whilst PBO offers the lowest elongation followed by Dyneema in D12 MAX and then D12, there is no differential between SK78 and SK99.
What is the strength of Dyneema®?
Dyneema® has extremely long molecular chains that transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone. So it’s stronger at the same weight or lighter at the same strength than alternatives. Dyneema® fiber is 15x stronger than steel at the same weight, with a tensile strength up to 43 cN/dtex.
