What is Sikaflex 522 for?
Sikaflex®-522 adheres well to a wide variety of substrates and is suitable for interior and exterior elastic sealing and bonding applications. It is suitable for applications in areas of air ventilation and incidental food contact.
What is the difference between Sikaflex 512 and Sikaflex EBT?
512 is supposed to be slightly faster curing, with better resistance to UV. EBT may cure faster in moist conditions. I think any of them will be very good, providing the surfaces to be bonded are well degreased (meths). Just don’t use it if you want to take it apart again!

Is Sikaflex 221 self leveling?
I’ve come to the conclusion that Sikaflex 221/715, Dicor self-leveling, and 3M4200 are all acceptable choices; and have learned that self-leveling versions should only be used for horizontal, but not vertical surfaces.
Can You Use soapy water on sikaflex?
The use of protective clothing, goggles, barrier creams and rubber gloves is recommended. The skin should be thoroughly cleansed at the end of each working period either by washing with soap and warm water or by using a resin removing cream – the use of powerful solvents is to be avoided.
