How do tournaments work in Tap Titans 2: Tournaments happen twice a week, every Sunday and Wednesday at 00:00 UTC. If you join a tournament (only available for 24 hours), you will get placed into different prize brackets (Reddit) based on your potential max stage.

You can use a card only once per reset though, so you will need to use several combinations of cards to do all your attacks.

With the additional damage boost, you will have a higher chance of successfully killing the Tap Titans boss. Sometimes it may be tempting not to advance, because you find killing mobs faster is more enjoyable. However, it generally almost always better to kill the boss.
