Are bills included in iQ accommodation?
Costs. All iQ rents are inclusive of utilities, contents insurance and WiFi. Our rents are stated per week and you can be sure that what you see is what you pay, with no hidden extras. Rents are due termly in advance at all sites, except Grove and Fountainbridge in Edinburgh.
What does iQ accommodation provide?
Our accommodation has fire alarm systems in place as well as fire prevention equipment, and we carry out regular testing and evacuation drills. Our buildings are also regularly audited by external, independent consultants. iQ has a full-time, highly qualified, Health and Safety team who visit sites regularly.

How do I pay for iQ student accommodation?
Payment can be made by either credit or debit card through the iQ portal or our App. You can also pay rent (but not your booking fee) by international bank transfer, via our partner Western Union. We only collect rent directly and so payment should only be made via either of these methods during your stay with us.
Can I live in student accommodation if I’m not a student UK?
Do I need to be a student to live in student accommodation? It might sound like a no-brainer, but yes – you do need to be a full-time student if you want to live in either university or private halls.

Can I cancel my iQ accommodation?
You may cancel your booking or Tenancy Agreement with us subject to the cancellation policy detailed below. iQ Student Accommodation will return your Booking Fee and cancel your booking on receipt of written notice from you.
