Does USGA membership include handicap?
Your handicap fees are factored into your membership, and you can post all of your scores for the year and play against other golfers of differing abilities using your handicaps to adjust games to a more level playing field.
Are USGA dues tax deductible?
Are donations made to the USGA tax-deductible? Yes, the USGA is a non-profit charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Is a USGA handicap FREE?
As part of the new 2020 World Handicap System, Golf Digest Handicap pays a fee for your account to be in the same database as everyone in the GHIN system. If you go to play a tournament at a GHIN course, they will be able to look up your handicap index in the same system as everyone else.
