TIME Stories is a scenario based deduction game, so every “series” of games you play will be different. However the base game comes with only one mission in the box (Asylum), so chances are you’ll be playing that one first. At the start of every game, players are given a briefing that outlines the overall mission goal.
Is time stories a legacy game?
While not everyone was super eager for a second playthrough, most had a great time. Like Pandemic: Legacy, this is another tabletop game with tons of spoilers and it was fascinating to watch it delight and surprise people in unexpected ways.
Can you play time stories with two people?
Although T.I.M.E. Stories isn’t geared to 2-player gameplay, we use the Rahdo variant with a third support player controlled by either of us but never leading so can never be on it’s own.
Do you have to play time stories in order?
T.I.M.E Stories is an entire game series, with a bunch of expansions (or scenarios), you can buy that use the same mechanics. They all operate as a standalone game, however you’re advised to play them in order of release as there are a few themes that run throughout.

Can you play time stories alone?
I played, and finished, T.I.M.E Stories: The Marcy Case , solo, using all 4 receptacles, and it’s not only doable, but it’s not too fiddly, and it’s TON of fun!
