I feel bad posting this review. The Hopewell Rocks are great to see. The experience and the park rangers were excellent and the grounds well marked and kept clean. I just suggest that the powers that be take appropriate steps to ensure this does not happen in future years. Please make sure the information is posted on the site.

The Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park has three primary access points to the Ocean Floor. Main Deck offers a large metal staircase complete with a spacious viewing platform. Guests can descend the 99 stairs to the ocean floor and after exploring, can boast bragging rights to having climbed the 101 steps back to the top.
Is Hopewell Rocks open at low tide?
There were dozens of us that had come back to see Hopewell Rocks at low tide. The booth person did not tell us that the park closing time was now 5 PM nor were there any signs except the times for high tide and low tide on that day.
