Is it free to get a dog from Dogs Trust?
We also give you a collar and lead and four weeks’ free insurance, all of which are covered by an adoption fee. As it may take a little time for your dog to settle in to his new home, we provide a free back-up service to assist you.
What services do Dogs Trust provide?
Hope Project For over 15 years, the Dogs Trust Hope Project has been offering advice and free veterinary care to those dog owners who are homeless or in housing crisis. For many of these people, their dogs are their best friend and main source of companionship.
How many Centres does Dogs Trust have?
Our mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Each year we care for around 16,000 dogs at our nationwide network of 20 rehoming centres. No healthy dog is ever destroyed.
How much is a dog in Dogs Trust?
How much does it cost to rehome? Our adoption fee is €180 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy is €220. This includes the €180 rehoming fee and a reduced €40 online Dog School fee.
Is the Dogs Trust a good charity?

Can I visit Dogs Trust?
Come and see us. Our rehoming centres are open for general browsing on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday from 12 – 4pm. On these days you’ll be able to walk around and see some of the dogs in our care. If you’re interested in a dog, we’ll be able to tell you more about them and help you apply via our online form.
