How do I clean my ID badge holder?
Add rubbing alcohol, any household cleanser, disinfectant wipe or diluted soap (add water) to towel. Lightly rub both ID Badge and Badge Holder. If using soap and water, soak & rub for 20 seconds, then rinse. Dry with clean paper towel or allow to air dry.
How do you clean plastic badges?
Cleaning Plastic ID Cards Badges and plastic ID cards should be sanitized regularly using antibacterial wipes, especially if they’re touched frequently by multiple people. If antibacterial wipes such as Lysol wipes are not available, alcohol wipes will also work for cleaning plastic ID cards.

Baking soda with warm water, make a toothpaste-like consistency out of it, put it on a soft cloth, and run it down the lanyard.
How do you clean yellowed lace?
- Mix a special solution of 1/4 cup baking soda, 1 tablespoon of laundry detergent, and 4 cups of water and mix in a large pot.
- Boil the mixture.
- Once it has reached a full boil, take the pot off the stove.
- Take your yellowed lace clothing item(s) and dip into the solution.
- Remove from the solution with tongs and gloves.
What do you clean lace with?
For lace, we recommend hand washing with cold water, and not using the washing machine (even on the gentle cycle). Massage the soapy water evenly onto the fabric and allow the item to soak for roughly 30 minutes. Rinse well once the soak is complete and gently press out excess water.
Can I machine wash a lanyard?
*Note: While hand washing is recommended, you can wash your lanyards in a washing machine (without agitator), on gentle cycle, with a mild soap or detergent. Even when taking care to pad the carabiner, damage may occur to the interior surface of the machine’s drum. NEVER place your Perfect Descent lanyard in a dryer.
