Is L Oreal SteamPod worth it?
It is so easy to create loose, bouncy waves with the wider plate. I also loves that it leaves my hair looking glossy, rather than dry, so I don’t need to add an oil or serum at the end, in order to ensure my hair looks frizz-free. It’s the closest thing to a salon finish that I’ve found in a hair styling tool.
Is SteamPod 2 or 3 better?
The comparison: SteamPod 3.0 vs. The new SteamPod 3.0 is slightly narrower and lighter than the SteamPod 2.0, making it slightly easier to use. The SteamPod 2.0. does not have an integrated water tank, but rather a mobile water tank, which you need additionally.
Is SteamPod better than GHD?
There are pros and cons with both but overall, the Steampod is the tool for me! I had to reach hard to point out the cons, to be honest. It is more expensive than the GHD but so worth the investment. I definitely recommend purchasing.

Can you use Steampod without steam?
CAN I USE STEAMPOD WITHOUT WATER? We do not recommend using Steampod without the correct level of water in the tank. Attaching / Removing / Cleaning the comb: If you want to clean the comb, you can remove it by sliding it outwards. You must remove the comb when it is cold in order to avoid getting burnt.
How do you descale a Steampod?
Descale the Steampod straightener
- Fill the tank with half white vinegar (or household vinegar or a descaling product) and half water.
- Warm up the device for a few minutes.
- Glue the plates together for about 1 minute to activate the steam and that the water circulates in all the ducts of the straightener.
Can I use distilled water in Loreal Steampod?
Any demineralized water can be used at the steampod.
