Can I bring a bassinet on an airplane? Sure. You can bring a bassinet on an airplane but you’ll have to treat it like any other piece of luggage, storing it in the carry-on compartment or under the seat.
Do Jetstar seat families together?
We do our best to seat families together when we allocate seating and we’ll make sure that young children are seated with a parent or guardian, but we can’t guarantee you’ll be all together. That’s why it’s best to select your seats when you book your flights.

How do you book a bassinet seat on a plane?
To select your seats, visit Manage booking. In order to select a Seat with Bassinet, the infant: Must be booked and travelling with an adult (parent or guardian) Must be less than 2 years of age, weigh less than 11kg and be able to lie flat in the bassinet at the time of travel.
Can you take prams on Jetstar?
When travelling with an infant or small child, you can bring any combination or all of the following items as checked baggage for free: a pram, a stroller, a portable cot and/or a highchair. When should I buy a bassinet?
You can use a bassinet from day one until your baby is able to move around, push up on their hands or roll over, usually between about three months and five months old. Some bassinets have weight restrictions as well, so be sure to check the specific guidelines of your particular model.
Can you fit a bassinet on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner?
We only have bassinets fitted on Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft operating on international flights. Bassinets are not available on Boeing 787 aircraft on domestic flights. Contact us to request a bassinet. Be sure to do this as early as possible as we have a very limited number of bassinets available.
Is this a good bassinet for twins?
