Can pilots skydive?
MANAGING AIRSPACE CSC has a very structured approach to flight operations. It’s a high volume dropzone, often with multiple aircraft flying jumpers on the same day. It also happens to be located on a municipal airport, which means general aviation pilots can fly there in addition to our skydiving aircraft.
What is a skydiving pilot?
Jump pilots fly aircraft for skydivers. In this role, you prepare the plane for each flight, monitor conditions in the air, and ensure the jumpers are secure and ready to dive out of the plane.

Why do pilots never fly with a parachute?

How long does it take to be able to skydive solo?
Once you have logged 25 jumps and shown the required skills, you’ll be eligible to apply and test for your USPA ‘A’ license. This means you are a qualified skydiver and are clear to jump solo without supervision.
Can I skydive out of my own plane?

Can you parachute out of a Cessna 172?
