Does it cost to get into Cumberland Falls?
No general admission fees apply at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. From the nearby town of Corbin, take State Highway 727 to US-25W, which eventually becomes KY-90 W. From here, it’s about 14 miles to the parking at the Mouth of Laurel boat ramp.

After a winding drive on 25W through the woods (with beautiful mountain vistas sprinkled here and there) you arrive at Cumberland Falls in the Daniel Boone Forrest. The falls can easily be seen from the pathways with only a short walk required.

When can you see the moon bow?
The moonbow typically appears for about five nights each month, starting from two to three nights before the full moon through two or three nights afterward – but only when the weather is clear. If it’s cloudy, there won’t be enough light.
How can I see my Moonbow?
In order to see the moonbow you need to visit Cumberland Falls when lots of water is flowing, within one or two days of a full moon, and on a completely cloudless night. Getting those three conditions to align is tricky, but it actually happens pretty regularly at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.
