What does Fsuipc stand for?
Most FSX/P3D users will be familiar with the wonderful acronym, FSUIPC or its full title Flight Simulator Universal Inter Process Communication. Let’s stick with FSUIPC. It’s the work of flight sim legend Pete Dowson and is one of the few absolutely essential programs that every FSX/P3D pilot needs in their sim.
How do I register FSUIPC?
If you bring up the FS menu bar then click on Modules, you’ll get a dropdown which will contain FSUIPC to click on. A tabbed window will open. If your version is application registered while most items will show, only those features the application enabled in its own registration key will be enabled.
Does Fsuipc work with MSFS?
The latest version is suitable for FS2002, FS2004, FSX, P3D and MSFS running on Windows 10.
Do you have to buy Fsuipc?
It is not required. However, if an addon does require FSUiPC then the installer will install the unregistered free version.

Do you need Fsuipc for MSFS?
Yes you definately require fsuipc7 in order to run pilot2atc with msfs 2020. Once you download this and set it up, you need to run it each time you want pilot2atc to connect to msfs. FSUIPC is also required if you want to link MSFS to an external program like FSE.
Where is Fsuipc installed?
The FSUIPC. ini file should be in the PC/documents/Prepar3dv5Add-ons/Fsuipc6 folder. This folder should have been created when you installed FSUIPC6. It no longer installs into the Simulator itself.

As long as you enable the option on installation. FSUIPC does a whole lot of things. more comprehensive than those of MSFS 2020. FSUIPC can be started automatically when MSFS 2020 starts.

How do I uninstall Fsuipc for prepar3d?
Just delete the FSUIPC4. DLL file from the Flight Simulator X Modules folder. Uninstalling FSUIPC is covered in the User Guide which can be found in the FSX/Modules/FSUIPC Documents folder. Not sure why you’d want to remove it though, because some add ons need it to work properly.
