Are milk savers worth it?
If you struggle with supply or you’re concerned with not having a big enough freezer stash, Milkies Milk-Saver could be a helpful product for you. If you have plenty of milk or don’t leak much from the non-nursing side or you don’t save breast milk at all, you probably don’t need a Milk-Saver.
Is there a way to collect breast milk while sleeping?
Wear a sports bra, sleep on your side, twist the lactic cups so that the spouts are facing the ceiling near the headboard when you lie down (instead of facing your chin like they usually do). This way they will collect and not leak unless it overflows.
What to use to catch leaking milk?
First, there are breast pads that simply soak up the leakage to prevent it from getting on your clothes. Breast pads are worn inside the bra. There are washable and disposable breast pads. Then, there are ‘milk savers’ that are also designed to be worn inside the bra, like a breast pad.
