Can you get money back from SmartRider?

Hotlist your card to protect the remaining balance and deactivate your card. Call Transperth as soon as possible on 13 62 13 or visit a Transperth InfoCentre to hotlist the card. This protects the remaining balance but deactivates the SmartRider forever.
Does SmartRider credit expire?

If you do not tap on, you may be fined for travelling without a valid ticket. If you do not tap on but do tap off at the end, you will be charged the default fare. What happens if you don’t tag off the bus?

What is autoload SmartRider?
Autoload is an automatic direct debit that tops up your card when it falls below a certain amount. Autoload can be activated by logging into Transperth’s My Account. You can add a card in the bottom left under My SmartRider. Your SmartRider number is on the top right of your card.
Why is SmartRider not autoloading?
If, for whatever reason, we are unable to access those funds your Autoload will be disabled and the value that was credited to your card will be removed. In order to add value to your SmartRider balance, you will need to use alternative ‘add value’ methods until you can check your details and reactivate your Autoload.
