Can you spray shellac?
Shellac should be sprayed in a warm atmosphere and each coat takes only a few minutes to dry. In an hour a piece can be ready for delivery. I use an Earlex 5500 HVLP sprayer. It’s one of the least expensive but for my level of production it works perfectly.
What is difference between lacquer and shellac?

about 30 minutes
Ultra-easy application. Whether sprayed, brushed, or padded on, shellac dries quickly at optimal conditions of 70°F and 50–70 percent humidity. Though it dries to the touch in about 30 minutes, allow 1 hour between coats.
How many coats of shellac are needed?
Three to four coats is generally enough to give the work a fully protective coat. The first coat seals the wood and the second gives it enough body to sand, level and recoat without cutting through these base coats. The first coat can be applied with a rag or a brush, depending on the surface area you want to coat.

Can Zinsser 123 be sprayed?
Hello matey, the bullseyes 123 will be no problem for your sprayer, and sprays well, although I no longer use 123, I have done and goes on well. Remember to clean your sprayer out, and I always, but you don’t have to, replace the filter in the gun, I do this as I know I won’t get any problems whilst spraying.
