Does Hondata have base maps?
Hondata does a lot of research but they make the maps in california at sea level and they make sure your engine wont blow up. Custom tuning is a bit more aggressive with timing and a bunch of stuff so you’re risking a bit more.
How do I upload a basemap to my s300?
Go to “Online” > “Upload”: You should see the progress bar indicating the basemap is uploading to your ECU/S300: Turn your ignition off, then back on and proceed to start your vehicle. You are now running on your new basemap.

- In the Device Manager, find the Hondata S300 ECU entry.
- Update the USB drivers.
- After the drivers are updated, the yellow exclamation mark should disappear from next to Hondata S300 ECU.
How do I download music to my Hondata?
To download, Just connect to the ECU & turn key to IGN on/Engine off. Then if the ECU shows as “Online”,go to the Online Menu at top of screen & simply select “Download” & wait for it to finish.
