I’ve been a big fan of the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro 9-button for these old games, but the Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X can program 12 buttons for most of these games, and this stick looks like it is in current production, so I’m glad to be able to do this upgrade.

There is no PC software available for this stick so you cannot reprogram it unlike the Thrustmaster T.16000m which is a much better stick for the PC. So if you want a Thrustmaster stick buy the T.16000m instead. It’s a little more expensive but is a much better choice for the PC. If you have a PS3 this stick is probably fine.

However in my experience it is much too sensitive when used with Flight Simulator X. Even with the sensitivity turned all the way down within the options menu of FSX the slightest movement of the stick causes the aircraft to lurch around. This stick is probably better for the PS3.
