It is one of the best of the line so far in terms of looks, poseability, and accessories. If you liked anything about the Exia from Gundam 00, this is the kit to have. The level of detail on this kit is great, but not distracting from the simple design.

Is RG more detailed than MG?

MG is generally what I would recommend to beginners in the gunpla hobby. The parts are bigger and the gate placement is usually really good as to not show a lot of nub marks. The RG’s are smaller, more detailed kits making it easier to display them but might be a little harder applying stickers and decals.
