What fish are being caught in Cabo right now?
Fishing is great with tons of Dorado, Sail Fish, Striped Marlin and Tuna offshore at the 25 mile mark in the Pacific and 1000 fathom line in the Sea of Cortez. There is a wide variety of fish available including a good Wahoo bite and Mako Shark fishing. Inshore fishing is mainly Dorado, Sail Fish and Spanish Mackerel.

To get attention of Roosterfish, try using live baits like Sardines and Mullet. They love patrolling the shoreline in search for schools of Sardines and Mullet. So, if you want to attract them, then we’d advise using Sardines and Mullet as baits.
Is Striped Marlin good to eat?
Striped Marlin is considered the finest eating of all Marlin species because of its tender flesh. The natural color varies from light pink to deep orange-red. The less common Striped Marlin that have an intense orange flesh and higher fat content are particularly desired for the sashimi market.
