Velocity Triggers – The good, the bad, the felony. So I installed the 3lb Velocity Trigger in my DDm4 and took it out to the range this morning. Definitely a nice glass-rod break with very little to any noticeable creep.

How much pressure does it take to break a velocity trigger?
In actual shooting practice, there’s no way you’re going to pull on the trigger with 12 lbs of pressure after it breaks at only 3.14 lbs. Since, like most of the triggers here, the Velocity has no take-up slack at all, the reset distance will always be an extremely close match to however far the trigger shoe travels rearwards.
