What is SmartView software?
Smart View enables you to integrate ERP, enterprise performance management (EPM), and business intelligence (BI) data directly from the data source into Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Using Smart View, you can view, import, manipulate, distribute and share data in Office-based interfaces.
How do I install SmartView?
Installing Smart View
- Select Tools, then Install, and then Smart View.
- From Oracle Technology Network, select Oracle Hyperion Smart View for Office, accept the license agreement, click Download Now, and then click Save to save the file locally.
- Unzip the file, launch SmartView.exe, and then follow the onscreen prompts.
Is SmartView an Oracle product?

Does my phone have smart view?

Where is Excel Smart View?
If not, enable SmartView according to the following steps. File > Options > Add-ins > Active Oracle Smart View for Office for Excel Add-in and COM Add-in Once Oracle SmartView for Office is enabled, access to the same Add-ins page, and check Excel Add-Ins, make sure the SmartView file, HsTbar. xls, is also enabled.
What is the difference between Essbase and SmartView?
One of the bigger changes is that Smart View is now compatible with multiple Oracle and Microsoft products, whereas the Essbase Add-In only connected to Essbase and Excel.
