All of our soft sole shoes are produced in our factory in Abbotsford BC Canada, along with our Bag offerings. Making sneakers in Canada is a long term goal for us and we continue to work towards creating our sneaker factory.
Is Heyfolks a Canadian company?
Heyfolks is an Abbotsford-based business with its own domestic footwear factory, producing high-end baby and toddler shoes, Made in Canada.
How do you clean Hey folk shoes?
Wash with cold water, on delicate cycle, and AIR DRY ONLY (do not put in the dryer).
Are Heyfolks shoes water resistant?
The TPU Toe cap defends against water and scuffing on the front part of the shoe where it matters most.
Does putting shoes in the washing machine damage it?
Shoes can damage your wash drum. That is why we recommend putting them into a wash bag or pillowcase to protect them from getting caught on the drum. To reduce the loud noise, wrap your shoes in the same color towel and put in wash bag or pillowcase.
Can I put my Vessis in the washing machine?
YES! This is one of our most exciting new features. Your Weekend Sneakers are machine washable. Make sure to remove the insoles first and wash them in cold water under a gentle cycle!
How do you clean stinky shoes?
Fill two socks with baking soda, tie them off at the top, and slip one sock in each shoe. Let them sit overnight. To get rid of odor-causing bacteria and fungus, spray the shoe’s interior with disinfecting spray like Lysol. You can also sprinkle foot powder or baking powder inside for similar effects.
Are Vessis really waterproof?
Founded in 2018, Vessi is a Vancouver-based startup specializing in sneakers that are lightweight, breathable, and 100% waterproof. Their shoes use a knit material called Dyma-tex, which allows heat and moisture in the form of sweat to escape, but prevents water from entering.
Should you throw out moldy clothes?
No matter how it happens, once mold has gotten into your clothes, you officially have a problem. The good is news is that you’re not necessarily going to have to throw everything away. With some persistence and quick action, you can rid those clothes of mold so they’re safe to wear again.
