Where can I park for a CSU game?
A Residential Parking Permit Program (RP3) for CSU stadium events was initiated and voted in favor of by residents of the following neighborhoods:
- Sheeley (zone 2)
- Mantz (zone 3)
- Old Fort Collins High School (zone 6)
- Western Heights (zone 9)
- Lake (zone 10)
- Gilgalad Way.
Can you have a car as a freshman at CSU?
There are no restrictions at CSU for freshman to bring their vehicles to campus (35% of freshman choose to bring a car with them to campus). There are over 4,500 spaces dedicated specifically to resident hall parking, with an average of 2,500 resident hall permit holders.
How do you park at a CSU football game?
Regular CSU parking permits are not valid on game days when football games are played at Canvas Stadium. All CSU parking spaces, including street and hourly spaces, are reserved for game day ticket holders only. Please ensure vehicles are moved by 10 p.m. the night before a home game to avoid citation or towing.

Is lot 40 open for parking at CSU?
Lot 40 and Lot 41 will be closed for visitors and permits from Monday 2/14 through Sunday 2/20. East Garage will be event parking on Friday 2/18 and Saturday 2/19. The rate will be $10. *Subject to change. Spring 2022 semester permits will only be available online via the CSU GO Online Parking Portal.
Where do I Park at CSU Fort Collins?
The majority of parking on our Fort Collins campuses is located on the perimeter of campus, a short walk to your destination. Around the Horn is a free CSU shuttle that connects to most visitor parking lots with a bus that loops every 10 minutes from 7 a.m. – 6:40 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Do I need a parking permit to Park on campus?
All vehicles parked on campus must have a valid CSU parking permit or park in designated hourly parking spaces and pay at a pay station. Vehicles must be parked so that a valid license plate or temporary registration is clearly visible from the drive lane. A parking permit allows for one vehicle to park on campus at any given time.
Where can I Park if I have a space permit?
Visitors may utilize West Garage or Prospect Garage as space permits. South Garage may fill due to events. Permit holders can park in other locations where their permit is valid.
