I can see forum threads stating that Khorvaire was about 4500 by 3000 miles at first, which seems absolutely huge. Supposedly this was a mistake by some large factor. Looking at the 4th edition map, the continent is now roughly 3000 by 2000 miles, which is about twice the land-area of Australia.
