Tom Wright guest stars as Tuvix to lend more credence to a unique new character that consists of equal parts Tuvok and Neelix. Both director Cliff Bole and Wright himself had reservations about the latter’s take on the character, and despite a perceived lack of support, Wright still praised the Voyager cast and crew.

Why did Kes turn evil?
In her old age, Kes had forgotten she had chosen to leave Voyager and thought the crew had abandoned her when she had become too troublesome. Subsequently, she hunted down Voyager, seeking revenge. She made her way to engineering, using her powers to cause extensive damage along the way.
Why did Voyager get rid of Neelix?
He was very excited about it. Of course, he didn t want to have to leave the show really early. I told him that it was a way to really give Neelix a big send off, as opposed to him just being one more character in the big finale where he wasn’t going to get a lot of focus.”
Did Tuvok serve on Enterprise B?
He (obviously) didn’t get the role, but the producers liked him enough to bring him back. In addition to playing a human in “Generations”, he also played a human in “Starship Mine” (TNG) & a Klingon in “Invasive Procedures” (DS9) before being cast as the Vulcan Tuvok in Voyager.
