If someone wishes to adopt a dog before its 72 hr hold is up, they may place a “hold” on that dog. The hold is good for the day the dog can go. We take up to three holds on each dog. (If the first hold drops off or doesn’t show, the second hold has 24 hrs to get the dog, etc).
