Can you save the Salarians Virmire?
Kirrahe will save the salarian Councilor’s life from Kai Leng, but die in the process. If Wrex survived Virmire but died years later due to Shepard sabotaging the genophage cure, Kirrahe and his STG unit will appear in London instead of Wrex and his krogan.
Does it matter who you take to Virmire?
The game doesn’t swap in different party members for you to choose between, and they’ll be the only ones who can be assigned to arm the bomb and fight alongside Captain Kirrahe. To that end, you should bring whichever party you’re most comfortable with.
Who should survive Virmire?
Whoever you decide to rescue will survive Virmire and the other will die, so choose wisely. Once you have made your decision, you will not be able to physically get to the character you have chosen to sacrifice.
What happens if you let the salarian out?
If you let him out he succumbs to the “incessant whispering” and attacks along with the indoctrinated salarians from adjoining cells. If you choose to leave him, he doesn’t take this sitting down and will try to get out by charging the glass, cracking it partially (and his skull) in the process.
Who should I send with the Salarians on Virmire?
As you explore the base on Virmire, you’ll have to send either Ashley or Kaiden to work with some Salarians led by Captain Kirrahe. This choice doesn’t matter too much, but if one of them is a core member of your squad, gameplay-wise, do not send them, as you won’t be able to bring them with you.
Does it matter who goes with Kirrahe?
Here’s the deal: there is no immediate consequence to who you choose to send with Kirrahe, other than that they will be unavailable to you for your squad for the rest of the Virmire mission. Keep in mind that Ashley has the skill set of the Soldier Class, while Kaidan more closely resembles the Sentinel class.
Can I save both Ashley and Kaiden?
Because you’re the commander, you have to make a clear decision about this moment, and unfortunately, there’s no way you can pick to save them both. You have to choose one or the other. If you choose to go with Ashley, regardless of her location, you will lose Kaidan. If you pick to go with Kaidan, Ashley will perish.
Should I take wrex to Virmire?
If you’re a monster that wants to let Wrex die instead well, fortunately, this is a lot easier to achieve. During the confrontation with Wrex on Virmire you can simply signal Ashley to take the shot on Wrex, which will kill him. Or you can take the shot yourself when prompted.
