Is Howl-O-Scream Cancelled Williamsburg?
Last year, Busch Gardens canceled Howl-O-Scream due to COVID-19 restrictions and instead held a limited-capacity “Halloween Harvest” event. Fortunately for 2021, Howl-O-Scream is back to thrill parkgoers, featuring four all-new sinister shows, three new haunted houses, two new Terror-tories, and much more.
Is Howl-O-Scream kid friendly?
Howl-O-Scream contains intense adult content such as violence, gore, and blood and is not intended for children. Our silly, not-too-spooky children’s Halloween event, The Count’s Spooktacular, ends at 5pm, giving guests with young ones plenty of time before the scares start at 6:00pm.
Do you have to pay for Howl-O-Scream?
Thrill rides Howl-O-Scream tickets start at $45 per night and $100 for an unlimited pass.

Howl-O-Scream has four Terror-tories this year. These are sections of the park that you walk though…but beware… there are scary characters all about waiting to terrorize you! HEXED HOLLOW (Terror-tory) – This village, and all who travel through it, are cursed by an ancient magic.
Can a 11 year old go to Howl-O-Scream?
I would say 11 and up. The short answer is that you CAN enjoy Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg with your children, it just requires a bit of extra supervision. I have gone every year with my children, and they are now 3 and 5. There are many parents with children in the park during Howl-O-Scream.
Do you need to be vaccinated to go to Busch Gardens in Virginia?
Will I have to show proof of vaccination upon entry? We will not require our guests to provide proof of vaccination. Consistent with CDC guidance, we recommend that our guests wear face coverings while indoors.
