What are the fallen Destiny?
The Fallen, or Eliksni in their native language, are a nomadic species of four-armed bipedal humanoids. They are a race of pirates and mercenaries located on Earth, the Moon, Venus, The Reef, Mars, Nessus, Io, and Titan, and are one of the primary antagonist races in the Destiny series.
Why are Eliksni called fallen?
The Fallen’s name for their own race is “Eliksni”. According to Variks, the Loyal, the Fallen once encountered the Traveller, or “Great Machine”, before an event or entity called the “Whirlwind” (possibly the Darkness or some other cataclysmic event) destroyed their civilization.
Why did the traveler abandon the fallen?
The traveller was made by the darkness, but it rebelled and escaped. Escaping it didn’t overcome its fear of it. So when the darkness came to get the traveller back, it left the fallen and came to earth.

What did saint 14 do to the fallen?
Saint-14 was an Exo Titan known for his crusade against the Fallen. At one point, the Speaker and Osiris sent him to track down Taniks, the Scarred. In the aftermath of the Battle of Twilight Gap, he headbutted the Kell of Devils to death.
Is the traveler a god Destiny?
The Traveler seems to be motivated by pure altruism; it has never wished to be worshipped as a god, nor has it made its presence known any more than necessary to cultivate a civilization.
Why did the traveler give Savathun light?
Of course, as detailed above, Savathun didn’t steal the Light; the Traveler chose to give it to her. So the memories we uncover aren’t actually helping us solve the mystery. Instead, they serve to help Savathun remember who she was in her past life, allowing her to complete her plans.
