What is contrac soft bait?
Contrac® Soft Bait, a single-feed formulation, contains the second-generation anticoagulant, bromadiolone. It is our most extensively researched and tested rodenticide which has undergone comprehensive field testing to ensure its performance in urban, rural, commercial and residential settings.
How do you use contrac Rodenticide?
RATS: Apply 3 to 16 ounces of bait (usually at intervals of 15 to 30 feet) per placement. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease. HOUSE MICE: Apply 1/4 to 1/2 oz. (1-2 level tablespoons) of bait per placement at 8- to 12- foot intervals.
How effective is Bromethalin?
Bromethalin works by causing the cells in the nervous system to stop producing energy. The nerve cells swell and put pressure on the brain, which leads to paralysis and death. Bromethalin kills faster than other anticoagulant pesticides, usually within 1-2 days, and is ideal when populations require a quick knockdown.
What is Ditrac Blox?
DITRAC All Weather BLOX Rodenticide contains the powerful active ingredient, Brodifacoum, the strongest, single-feeding anticoagulant on the market today. DITRAC is effective in controlling both rats and mice but works especially well to clean out persistent mouse infestations.
How long does contrac take to work?
When combating the toughest infestations, Contrac Blox provides fast results, as rodents die within 2 to 4 days of eating. To apply Contrac All Weather Blox outdoors and in areas where pets, children, and non-targeted wildlife have access, a tamper-proof bait station is required.
Can a dog survive bromethalin?
Bromethalin toxicosis can cause prolonged appetite loss (anorexia), meaning that some dogs will require feeding supplements for a time after initial treatment. It may take several weeks to recover from even a mild bromethalin poisoning.
