What is eye brow mapping?
Brow Mapping is a technique that is used to help find the ideal brow shape on your face. Brow specialists take multiple measurements of your brows and eyes to establish your correct brow shape. Most often done at a brow salon/brow bar, it is also a technique that you can simplify to undertake at home.
Where should brows start?
The start of your brow should begin at the bridge of your nose. It should not start in the inner corner of your eye as many believe. If your brows are set too far apart it will unnecessarily widen your face. You can find your eyebrow starting point by holding an eyeliner pencil up to either side of your nasal bone.
How to shape eyebrows?
The first rule in how to shape your eyebrows: You can only work with what you have. Use the eyebrows in this photo to see an example of how to shape them. These eyebrows are fairly thin on the ends and are rather straight. They can be shaped up a bit but won’t have an extreme arch.
