The grounds on the Nizuc side are much prettier, and the properties are not as cramped together as they are on the Sunrise side. There were kids by the pool on the Nizuc side, but we never spent any time at the Sunrise pool, so not sure what it would have been like at that end.

Is the Nizuc in Cancun worth it?
The Nizuc I must say is one of the most upscale hotel in the Cancun area. The ground are immaculate and well appointed. The pool is fantastic, although the black tiles make the water a bit too warm. The snorkeling was excellent, especially at the reef near the pier.

Is there glass on the beach at Nizuc?
Nizuc should be thankful as my husband and i picked up at least 20 pieces of fresh broken glass bottles on the beach while we were hunting for shells with our daughter. There is definitely staff there too cleaning up seaweed and combing the sand so not sure why there was so much glass. I’m going to move to when we checked out.
