What is Combivent nebulization?
COMBIVENT nebuliser solution in unit dose vials are indicated for the management of reversible bronchospasm associated with obstructive airway diseases in patients who require more than a single bronchodilator.
What class of drug is Combivent?
Combivent Respimat contains two drugs. The first is ipratropium, which is a part of a class of drugs called anticholinergics. (A class of drugs is a group of medications that work in a similar way.) The second drug is albuterol, which is a part of a class of drugs called beta2-adrenergic agonists.
When do you use a Combivent nebulizer?
COMBIVENT Inhalation Aerosol is indicated for use in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) on a regular aerosol bronchodilator who continue to have evidence of bronchospasm and who require a second bronchodilator. The dose of COMBIVENT® Inhalation Aerosol is two inhalations four times a day.
How do you prepare Neb Combivent?
If you are told to dilute COMBIVENT UDV solution, you must do so immediately before you plan to use the solution. If necessary, doses may be diluted to a total nebulization volume of 3-5 mL with preservative free 0.9% sterile sodium chloride solution and used immediately.
Is Combivent a corticosteroid?

COMBIVENT UDVs are intended for inhalation only and may be administered from a suitable nebuliser or an intermittent positive pressure ventilator. The single dose units must not be taken orally or administered parenterally.
