What’s the difference between GGL and GGU Velux?

What do Velux codes mean?
The VELUX brand window codes are found on the top right-hand edge of the roof window when you open it. The data plate tells you the type of window and the window size shown through the code. As shown below in the example, 304 would be 78cm x 98cm and the bottom window code 4 would be 114cm x 118cm.
How do you install a flash kit?
Clamp the two rings on either side of the canvas with the silicon on the outside (as seen on the diagram below). Push the bolts through and screw into place. Now that the kit is secure, push the flue sections through the flashing kit from the inside. Your stove will now be securely in place and ready to light up.
What is the difference between Code 4 and Code 5 lead flashing?
Code 5 lead is by far the most versatile and can be used in the same fashion as code 4 except for as a soaker. This lead can also be used for flat and pitched roofs.
Do you need a flashing kit for Velux windows?
VELUX does offer a flashing kit for non-traditional roof materials. If a roof isn’t slate or tiles it can still benefit from the looks and the light of a VELUX pitch roof window by utilising the ZWC flashing kit. This flashing kit is designed to overlap the roof material with a hood-like special head flashing.
