As already mentioned a common cause on motorcycles with ‘wet’ clutches like Spyders is the use of the wrong oil. Motorcycle oils have extra additives for wet clutches that normal car oils don’t contain. As result using a car oil, even one that seems to be a matching grade, can cause clutch slip.
