How long does Cutek last?
If mixing in a CUTEK® Colourtone to alter the existing colour, then two coats will be needed for adequate colour build. A further coat should be applied within 6 months, and another after 12 months.
Is Cutek a stain or oil?

Can I use Cutek on pressure treated wood?
Cutek Extreme can be used on CCA and other treated wood, however wood pre-treated with wax and polymer processes such as LOSP may require cleaning first with Cutek ProClean.
Can you paint over Cutek oil?
NO. Cutek Extreme will not penetrate through other oils or stains as they represent a barrier to penetration. All oils, stains, paints and other films must be fully removed before Cutek Extreme is applied.
How long does Cutek decking oil take to dry?
2-3 days
WEATHER: Once applied, CUTEK® oil generally requires 2-3 days of dry conditions after coating to facilitate full penetration/diffusion and an even colour finish; so check your weather forecast before coating.

What happens if it rains on Cutek?
Wood needs to be clean and dry and if rain is due in the next 12 hours, then delay application of CUTEK oil until there is more favorable weather. If you already applied the first coat and it rains within a few hours, remove any water excess from the boards, wait until they dry and apply second coat.
